Dr. Jessi Hanson-DeFusco seeks to enrich the lives of marginalized children through research and opportunities for them to have access to quality and meaningful education, child protection, and equitable access to healthcare services. They are currently an assistant professor of public policy and political economy at UT Dallas. Julia Tedesco is an incoming trial attorney (pending admission) at New York County Defender Services (NYCDS), Manhattan’s public defender office. She is currently a litigation consultant for the General Counsel’s office of United Rentals, Inc. Formerly, she was the Program Director for the Center on National Security while pursuing her JD in Fordham Law School’s Evening Division. At FLS, she competed for the Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy Program, served as the Online Content Editor for the International Law Journal, and as President of the Fordham Evening Division Society. She obtained her BA from the University of Delaware in International Relations and Affairs with focuses on U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East, Latin American studies, and Spanish language.

Marie-Pier Lemay, PhD (she/her) is a FRQSC and SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh's Global Studies Center and Political Science Department.
