A little about me.I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Public Policy and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh. My speciality is human security and I have a passion for human rights, conflict transformation, and im/migration policy.
I am currently writing my dissertation, conducting research, teaching, and organizing events pertaining to migration and mobility. This website is designed to start a conversation with you about how we can work together to transform our classrooms, organizations, and communities into supportive learning environments where we can combine our shared experiences with evidence-based knowledge and data. I maintain an epistemic community of scholars, entrepreneurs, activists, creators, and learners who support one another in achieving our goals, and I'd like to welcome you to be a part of it. My ongoing research is interdisciplinary in its scope and analysis.
My dissertation brings together network relationships, knowledge transfer, and city-level immigration policy.
I use an intersectional lens to highlight the roles of gender and race in our understanding of global systems as well as their local impact.
I am currently presenting my work at academic conferences.
