My modus operandi.I'm working toward a Ph.D. in Public Policy and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh, an R1 research institution in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. My academic research is complemented by my experience in higher education, U.S. government, and international organizations.
I translate international concepts and ideas into local action. I do this by promoting an understanding of human rights to unify people under the notion that our struggles for a more just and equitable world are interconnected. I also encourage my students to participate in building their communities in any way that they can, because taking local action is how we create change. As a learner and educator, I am committed to creating respectful learning spaces for students of all backgrounds, ages, and levels of knowledge. By incorporating global perspectives and emphasizing a seminar-style format into the classroom, I create a comprehensive and enriching learning experience for my students. If you would like to discuss how to improve your learning environment, or if you'd like to join my community of scholars, entrepreneurs, activists, creators, and learners, let's connect! |
